This is stated in the materials of the Accounts Chamber of Russia for the audit of the federal budget for nine months of this year, write “Notices”.

Proceeds from the progressive taxation scale will be used to treat children with rare diseases.

The total share of tax revenues in federal budget receipts (76.4%) was lower than the forecast (79.3%). For nine months, receipts from VAT and MET amounted to 85.7% of tax revenues.

In Russia, taxes for citizens, as noted in the Ministry of Finance, are among the lowest in the world, while they have hardly changed over the years. The ministry stressed that the personal income tax rate of 15% “affects a small part of the population,” and the majority pays tax at a rate of 13%. At the same time, in other countries, tax rates reach 35%.
