One of the special guests invited to the City Festival by Mayor of Daugavpils Andrejs Elksniņš was Miks Indrašis, forward of the Latvian ice hockey team, who met with his youngest fans.
For small hockey players of Daugavpils it became an unforgettable event in their life – to talk to one of their idols and touch the bronze medal that our team won at the last World Championship.
In addition, the hockey player, together with musician Ivo Fomins, went to the main stage installed on Vienibas Square to congratulate our city on its birthday and share emotions after the World Championship.
