British supermarket chain Asda and Deliveroo have launched a new partnership for the fast delivery of groceries. Delivery is made from fifteen stores.
Customers in the Wakefield, Leeds and Manchester area can select from more than 2400 products from the Asda range. The orders are delivered within ‘minutes’.
The supermarket plans to connect 300 stores to the Deliveroo platform by the end of the year. Asda previously partnered with Uber Eats.
Asda is responding to the increasing competition from speed camera delivery companies.
