Bridgestone Distributes Donations Again During the Covid-19 Pandemic

DAPURPACU – PT Bridgestone Tire Indonesia continues to contribute during this pandemic by re-distributing donations for the Covid-19 task force in Bekasi and Karawang.

These various kinds of assistance were provided to communities around Bridgestone’s plant operations in the two areas.

“Hopefully this donation can help the Task Force a little bit in dealing with Covid-19 in the surrounding locations where our two factories are located,” said Yunus Triyonggo, HR-GA Director of Bridgestone Indonesia.

The donations provided were personal protective equipment such as masks, hazmat, gloves, and other necessities such as vitamins, rice and ready-to-eat food products including milk and biscuits.

Donations in the form of personal protective equipment were given separately by the Bridgestone Indonesia CSR Team to the Covid-19 task force in their respective regions.

Meanwhile, other donations are allocated for community members who are undergoing independent isolation in government health facilities or their respective homes.

Yunus realized that to deal with the second wave of this virus, good cooperation from all parties was needed. In addition, Bridgestone also supports Government regulations regarding Emergency PPKM

“We implement strict health protocols including supporting employees to participate in the vaccination program in stages so that this pandemic ends soon,” concluded Yunus. [dp/MTH]
