The two awards were won by the BRI Bengkulu Branch Office Pantun Team (KC) in a competition organized by Balai Pustaka in collaboration with the Ministry of SOEs. The success achieved by BRI employees (BRIlian people) proves the company’s role in supporting the development of human resource talent (HR), along with the transformation of human capital to realize BRI’s vision as Home to The Best Talent.
BRI’s Corporate Secretary, Aestika, expressed her pride and appreciation for the success of the BRI Bengkulu Branch Pantun Team, which has brought BRI’s name to the national level, by successfully achieving a proud position in the National Pantun Requiring Competition.
“Of course this is very proud and we appreciate the success of the Pantun KC Bengkulu Team, especially since this achievement was achieved in the atmosphere of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is proof that BRI accommodates talent to improve its capabilities and we continue to strive to produce the best talents from BRIlian people, in line with the company’s transformation,” said Aestika, in a meeting with the Pantun Team of BRI Bengkulu Branch.

Successfully outperforming participants from state-owned companies in the country, the BRI Bengkulu KC Pantun Team won 1st place. The 2nd place was won by the Pekanbaru PLN Synergy rhyme team and 3rd place by the Telkom KARSA rhyme team.
The announcement of the winner of the competition has been made through the official Balai Pustaka social media account, which was published on June 1 and the awarding of the winner’s trophy was carried out at the Ministry of SOEs, Thursday (10/6).
The 2021 National Level Pantun Requiring Competition was attended by 1,083 participants from all over Indonesia. This activity, which is supported by many state-owned companies, achieved a new record in history, both from the number of participants reaching more than 1000 participants, the first time with video submissions by participants and followed by Aceh to Papua.
The organizers of the competition divided into two categories, namely millennial BUMN and General. The Ministry of SOEs, Balai Pustaka and other stakeholders held this competition activity in the spirit of promoting pantun as a world cultural heritage and elevating local wisdom to the national stage.
