The City of Bor has put the draft detailed regulation plan for the formation of residential settlements on the “Trujkanov Potok” stretch for early public inspection. The space for the construction/formation of new settlements intended for the relocation of households from settlements located in the zones of influence of the planned development of mining activities has been determined in cooperation between the relevant ministries, the City Administration of Bor and the Municipal Community of Krivelj, according to the official website of the City of Bor.

The area on which the construction of new settlements is planned is located in the cadastral municipalities of Šarbanovac, Zlot IV and Brestovac, next to the state road DP and B-37 and the “new Zlot road” (OP-11). The planned area covers approximately 19.30 km2.

“The analysis of the space, which included consideration of the relief (slope of the terrain) and the existing built physical structure, identified three spatial units (areas of 400 – 450 ha) that were assessed as suitable for the construction of new settlements (units marked as “A”, “B ” and “V”). It is estimated that within the proposed three spatial units – settlements, about 900 new construction plots can be formed “for rural type housing, with an area of 20-30 ares”, according to the report.

Spatial unit – settlement “A” is located directly next to the corridor of the state road DP IB -37 where between 250 – 300 new construction plots of 20 – 30.00 ares can be provided. In the settlement, there is space for a community center, an ethno park, a cemetery, an economic zone, infrastructure systems and protective greenery.

Spatial unit – settlement “B” is located next to the “new zloty road” (OP – 11). Between 300-350 new construction plots of 20-30,00 ares can be provided/formed on the site. Due to the natural limitations and the position of the existing residential groups, the future settlement will have a scattered dimension. In this settlement, there is space for a community center, an ethnopark, a cemetery, infrastructure systems, recreation and protective greenery.

Spatial unit – settlement “V” is also located next to the “new zloty road” (OP – 11). The site occupies an area of about 160.00 ha where between 300 and 350 new construction plots of 20-30.00 ares can be provided/formed. Due to the favorable terrain, the settlement has a compact spatial structure. In the new settlement, there is space for a community center, an ethnopark, a cemetery, sports and recreation, infrastructure systems and protective greenery.

The land needed for the construction of the mentioned three settlements will be acquired after the Detailed Regulation Plan is adopted through the determination of public interest and implementation of exploitation. The plan will ensure the connection of rural roads to public roads and the network of streets in new settlements, as well as ways of solving social and socioeconomic issues related to the construction of new settlements and the relocation of households from settlements threatened by mining activities.
