BNP will hold rallies in 28 districts

BNP has announced rally program in 28 districts of the country including Dhaka city on May 19-27 on 10-point demand.

Secretary General of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced these programs from a protest rally in front of the central office in Nayapaltan on Saturday (May 13).

The protest rally was organized by the initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North-South BNP. BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member and Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP convener Aman Ullah Aman presided over the rally.

Mirza Fakhrul said, rally in 28 districts and metropolis including Dhaka metropolis north on May 19 (Friday) to realize 10-point demands. On May 20 (Saturday) in 21 districts and metropolitan areas including Dhaka Metropolitan South, on May 26 (Sunday) in 20 districts and metropolitan areas including Dhaka Metropolitan North and on May 27 in 15 districts and metropolitan areas including Dhaka Metropolitan South.

He said, this rally is to protest against the contempt of the court and the government under the direction of the High Court, arbitrary arrests in disappearance cases, false cases, police harassment, increase in commodity prices, electricity load-shedding, totalitarian corruption of the Awami government and the implementation of ten-point demands.
