The BMW X7 xDrive40i debuts a six-cylinder in-line engine of the latest generation, with 35 kW / 47 hp more power than the previous unit, at 280 kW / 380 hp, while the maximum torque reaches 520 Nm, and can be boosted up to 540 Nm. Detailed upgrades to the in-line six-cylinder diesel engine of the new BMW X7 xDrive40d have also improved fuel economy and emissions. The maximum output of its overall drive system is 259 kW / 352 hp. The most important common feature of the three engines is the integration of Mild Hybrid technology at 48V of the new generation. The debut of the large luxury SUV BMW X7 is expected in August.
