Prague – Minister Jan Blatný (for YES) will summon the director of the State Institute of Public Health (SZÚ) Pavel Březovský due to information from the Seznam News server that the institute distributed a thousand vaccines against covid-19 among its employees and their relatives. After today’s government meeting, Blatný told reporters that in no case can it be tolerated that someone would unreasonably get access to the vaccine before clearly defined priority groups of seniors or health professionals.
“In the event that the EAA really does not respect the prioritization as set, I will clearly draw the consequences, including the possible personal responsibility of those people who would be associated with it,” said Blatný. He will want an “uncompromising explanation” from the director, but so far he respects the presumption of innocence.
