How to effectively overcome stressful conditions in vegetable crops
“The best solution for overcoming stressful conditions, especially in intensive crops such as vegetables, is the application of the ExelGrow® product. We are located in the atar of the village of Despotovo, a famous vegetable region. We are currently harvesting cauliflower, which is in progress, and after that the harvesting of other cabbages, i.e. cabbage, continues. As we can see, the cauliflower looks nice, although this year was really not suitable for it due to extremely high temperatures, it was expected to be much more late, in the end it arrives slowly. According to some estimates, only 11% of yield losses are due to biotic factors such as diseases and weeds, and 65% of yield losses are due to abiotic factors such as drought, high temperatures, low temperatures, etc.
To overcome these stressful conditions, the most important thing is to raise the resistance of the plants, so that they can bear it more easily, that is, in order to overcome all the stresses that they experience during the growing season. ExelGrow® is new generation biostimulator which contains seaweed ASCOPHYLLUM NODOSUM, potassium and organic carbon. As a result of applying ExelGrow®, we get a higher yield, and what is even more important in the case of vegetable plants, we get a better quality of the fruits themselves.
