Benelli Tornado 402 ready for global markets

Beneli Tornado 402

Benelli recently unveiled its latest sports bike – the Tornado 402.

The Benelli Tornado 402 boasts an aggressive stance, with striking features such as the single-sided rear fork and full LED lighting. Its striking appearance is complemented by premium components, including an inverted Marzocchi front fork and a centrally mounted rear shock.

The bike is equipped with dual Nissin radial front brake calipers and a single rear disc, providing reliable stopping power. In addition, the Tornado 402 comes standard with dual-channel ABS and a full-color TFT display. It has an impressive weight of only 172 kilograms, which contributes to its agility and maneuverability.

Underneath its sleek exterior, the Benelli Tornado 402 is powered by a 399 cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. With an eight-valve cylinder head, the engine delivers 47.5 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. These figures are similar to those delivered by the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the recently introduced CFMOTO 450 SR.

Meanwhile, Benelli plans to make the Tornado 402 available worldwide, so it will compete with popular machines like the KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 400 and Honda CBR500R. Although pricing details are yet to be released, the Tornado 402 is expected to offer a competitive price.
