In this final episode of Beijing Express, which aired on May 11, viewers witnessed the final 172 kilometers of this race, with the three pairs starting from Battambang in the heart of Cambodia. Italo Americans and Newlyweds faced each other on the last leg of the race, to compose the most awaited final between Novelli Sposi and Italian Americans. First an olfactory mission almost “imitating” what the very powerful local rats do, trained in the search for TNT for unexploded ordnance, then heading towards the last red carpet of the season, with the second mission of the day on the zip-line at Angkor which allowed them to glide among the trees of the rainforest, up to 70 meters high: a last and adrenaline-pumping journey through Cambodian nature before reaching the final finish line among the thousand-year-old temples of the old capital of the Khmer Empire. Here was hidden the carpet guarded by Costantino and Enzo and “conquered” by Joe and Andrea, who win the final victory.
