Awards for film dubbing will be presented in Přelouč today

Přelouč (Pardubice Region) – The František Filipovský Awards for film dubbing will be awarded today at the Citizens’ Bank in Přelouč. This year, the jurors evaluated a total of 37 images. In addition to awards for female and male acting, awards are also given, for example, for the sound, translation and editing of a dubbed audiovisual work or for the dubbing of television or film images of animated and children’s works.

Eliška Balzerová for the role of Bábi in American Elegy was nominated for the award for Best Actress in Dubbing, Anna Brousková, who lent her voice to Charlotte Brontë in Hidden Eyes and Ivana Milbachová for her role as Gloria in Gloria Bell. Among the nominees are David Novotný for the role of Lester in the series Fargo, in the same series Ivan Trojan for the vocal portrayal of the character Lorne Malvo and Aleš Procházka as Mank in the film of the same name.

The awards for the best dubbing have been given in Přelouč, where the actor František Filipovský was born, since 1995. Last year, Jan Šťastný and Vanda Hybnerová won the prizes for the best male and female acting performance in dubbing.
