After the asphalting of two New Building streets – Liepu and Sloka, any construction work related to the laying of pipes or communications is prohibited for the next five years.

Nevertheless, the specialists of the Daugavpils ┼źdens company made a decision to replace the damaged parts of the existing water supply system on these streets being repaired.

As explained at the enterprise, close cooperation with the executors of projects to improve the urban infrastructure continues. In July of this year, they begin to put in order the water supply systems in the New Building microdistrict. There, the Department of Public Utilities is engaged in the reconstruction of Sloku and Liepu streets with the replacement of the necessary communications.

The company Daugavpils ┼źdens informs that in some places of these streets it is necessary to completely change the street pipes and their closing fittings. Also, there will be a water pipeline to the borders of the private sector, which will allow the owners of private houses to easily carry out the planned construction work to connect to the centralized water supply system.

The company also invites other homeowners of the New Building to use the opportunity to connect their private house to the public water supply system, using the city government’s co-financing programs.

Detailed information on the connection rules can be obtained HERE.
