Director of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the South Sumatra Police, Kombes Agung Marlianto, said that his party had deployed a cyber team to investigate the case.

“Yes, the victim’s report is being investigated by our cyber team,” said Agung Marlianto in Palembang, Sunday (21/5).

According to him, the South Sumatra Police received a report on fraudulent bookings for Coldplay concert tickets with the victim Nina Ocktadyna (30), a resident of Palembang City.

Nina, who was accompanied by her attorney Febi Irianto, admitted to the police that she had been tricked after ordering Coldplay concert tickets online through a safekeeping service offered by an Instagram social media account @tixconcern.idn, on Wednesday (17/5).

Then, the account suddenly disappears after the victim sends the payment.

As a result, the victim suffered a total financial loss of IDR 12.5 million.

To investigate this report, the Cyber ​​Sub Directorate of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of the South Sumatra Police studied the evidence provided by the victim.
