“The CZSO statistics show that the number of people aged 65 and over is growing and will continue to do so. On the positive side, their average age is increasing, so centuries among us are no exception today, ”says Michaela Žáčková, Director of Social Services, Prague 9, z.ú. “In connection with this, it is increasingly relevant to create the best possible conditions for a full life. That is, those where they will not feel that they are on the ‘edge of society’, but part of it with everything, “he adds. It further emphasizes that experience from developed countries shows how much meaningful activities associated with smart solutions and modern technologies have an impact on the mental and physical health of older people. The costs incurred in this way are reimbursed several times in the reduction of funds for health care and accompanying services.
