Applications for kindergarten vouchers have begun


Applications have begun for civil servants and other beneficiaries to provide vouchers to be used to accommodate their children in daycare centers.

This is the program “Financial Support to Families with Preschool Children” implemented by the Hellenic Society of Local Development and Local Government SA.

Eligible to participate will be employees who are:

a) employees, permanent and indefinite, of the State, of the N.P.D.D. as well as the Local Authorities. (first and second degree), or

b) employees, self-employed in the private sector, who have not applied for or been supported by co-financed actions to harmonize family and professional life

c) employees or the self-employed in the private sector who have applied for participation in the co-financed Action “Harmonization of family and professional life” Cycle 2021-2022 but are excluded from the right to receive a voucher of this Action due to exhaustion of its budget.

A prerequisite is the total declared annual family income for the tax year 2020, not to exceed 33,000 euros for parents with up to two children, 36,000 euros for up to three children, 39,000 euros for up to four children and 42,000 euros for five children and above.

Selection criteria are family, financial status (family income tax year 2020) and employment status.

The “Voucher”, which will be granted to the beneficiaries is 180 euros per month, based on the points they have received throughout the country, until the budget of the program is exhausted.

The applications for participation can be submitted in the special application of the website of Ε.Ε.Τ.Α.Α. SA, (www.eetaa.gr – paidikoi.eetaa.gr), until the 3rd of August 2021 at 23:59.
