The way this will happen came with the novelty for calls. The Contact Poster will allow anyone to show their image in the calls they make to an iPhone with iOS 17. It will be their defined image to be shown, if the user so wishes, in the form of a poster.

Of course, this will only work in Apple’s universe and as such, users will trust more in those who show themselves. In the case of calls coming from an Android smartphone, there will be no possibility of displaying the Contact Poster, which will immediately separate users from this system.

Another place where iOS 17 separates itself from Android users is with NameDrop. This will be a useful feature for smartphones, but it will only work between those who have an iPhone and have iOS 17 installed. Again on Android this will be impossible to do, because Apple does not open this capability to other systems as an open protocol or API.
