Apple presented upgrades to its products, as well as a new mixed reality headset – Apple Vision Pro

Apple has just announced its new versions of laptops, the new Mac Studio, Mac Mini, Mac Pro, where it puts new processors everywhere, as well as the M2 Ultra processor. They showed improvements to their systems.

More precisely:

• The Mac Pro will get the M2 Ultra and the price will start at $6,999.
• The smaller Mac Studio will get the M2 ultra and the M2 upgrade, starting at $1,999
• The new Macbook with a 15″ diagonal will also receive an M2 chip. It should be the thinnest laptop
• iOS 17 will receive posters for contacts, namedrop for moving them, voice-to-text transcription, a new version of stickers, improvements to autocorrect, as well as a new stand-by mode
• iPadOS also gets improvements for better use on the tablet, it also gets stickers or even offline maps
• They also showed a new version of MacOS Sonoma with desktop widgets as well as a new game mode. It works like on Windows and thus suppresses background processes. To mark the new launch of games on the platform, they also called Kojima to announce the Death Stranding port for Mac.

Apple Vision Pro

Finally, they announced the Apple Vision Pro headset. The latter is a style of mixed reality headset in the design of diving glasses. Expect a VR headset from him with an internal display and external cameras that can simulate modified reality. You can thus display the surroundings, or if you do not need it, you can close it to another reality. With it, you can spread applications around and work, start facetime or even watch videos or play games.

It has two cameras and a series of sensors on the front, a button for taking photos and a controller for adjusting reality, as well as speakers for surround sound. The OLED display has 23 million pixels (4k for each eye), with a series of LEDs inside for backlighting around the eyes.

The processor here is a new chip called R1 for processing data from sensors, which will work with M2. The battery is external, you put it in your pocket and it lasts for two hours.

The headset will be released early next year and will cost a massive $3,449. Interestingly, the headset is the first new product from Apple since 2015.
