The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) announced on Friday that Romania has issued a new alert through the RAPEX system regarding non-compliant child protection masks.
“Alert sent by Romania through the Rapid Alert System for non-food products (RAPEX) for the product of non-medical protective mask, disposable, with 3 layers for children”, ANPC announced on Friday.
According to the information sent, the 175/95 mm Disposable Children’s Mask product poses a health risk.
“The product promotes potential protection against viral particles, but its filtering capacity has not been certified as such by the relevant European body.
