Anniversary Black Mountain Festival was celebrated in Pilskalns parish


On May 20, the Black Mountain Festival (Melnā kalna svētki) took place in Pilskalne parish for the 20th time, according to the Augšdaugava regional government.

Event idea author Skydrite Azastart believes that the Black Mountain Festival contributes to the recognition of the parish and popularizes its unique natural landscape, known as “Pilska Siguldinja”. The approval of the next cultural and historical object helps the development of tourism, attracts fans of traveling around the country to the region.
