After the popularization of wireless headphones (and consequently its price drop), now it is the turn of the popularization of one of its characteristics: active noise cancellation. Little by little more models are incorporating it and at increasingly competitive prices. It is the case of nuevos Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro, which incorporate this feature for a lower price than the most popular models on the market.

The Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro come with a similar design to the previous version. We have a padded design to offer passive noise cancellation. To this is added the headset itself and a toothpick similar to what has been seen in headphones from other brands. The company offers a total of four different colors to choose from: black, white, blue and pink.

The headphones offer a series of modes when playing content. In addition to the traditional playback, it comes, of course, with active noise cancellation. In this mode, the headset listens to outside sounds in real time and reproduces totally opposite sounds to cancel them and thus have “silence” inside the headset to hear only what is being played.

Like so many other models, along with active noise cancellation too offers a transparency mode. In this mode it is possible to listen to both what is being played outside and what is being played in the earphone at the same time. It’s ideal so you don’t always have to remove your headphones when talking to someone.

Finally, Anker highlights a series of modes to adapt to the environment in which the user finds himself. Because they are not the same sounds that we have in a subway than in the office, for example. It also has a custom equalizer that allows to adapt the sound to the ear of each user.

As far as autonomy is concerned, Anker promises for the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro a total of seven hours of autonomy per charge. Autonomy that is reduced to six hours if active noise cancellation is used. As for the case, it allows you to increase that autonomy up to 26 hours. It is recharged by USB-C and also by Qi. They say it offers 15-minute fast charging for three hours of playback.

Finally, it is worth highlighting the Soundocre app, from which you can further customize these headphones. For example, it is possible to modify the touch controls to give them personalized functions according to what interests us most. This is also where the listening modes or the equalizer and, of course, the active noise cancellation are set.
