jabar.jpnn.comDEPOK – The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemenkominfo) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) will stop analog TV broadcasts that are carried out simultaneously in the Greater Jakarta area on October 5, 2022.

Responding to this, the Head of the Depok City Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo) Manto admitted that he was ready to undergo the Ministry of Communication and Informatics’ instructions regarding socialization to the community.

“We have done socialization through social media, news, flyers, and billboards,” he told JPNN.com, Thursday (29/9).

In addition, the Depok City Communications and Information Office through the sub-districts and village heads throughout the city of Depok has begun to monitor the distribution of Set Top Box (STB) broadcast aids from the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemkominfo).

He explained that the STB assistance was sourced from the state budget (APBN).

“In Depok City, there are 51,189 Heads of Families (KK) who received STB assistance. But our task is only to convey data, for the provision of assistance is carried out directly by the Ministry of Communication and Information through a third party, “he explained.

Manto said that the distribution and installation of the STB was done on a door-to-door basis to the community.

“Installation is done door to door to the recipients,” he said.

Starting October 5, 2022, the Ministry of Communication and Information will stop broadcasting analog TV in Jabodetabek.
