A strange incident of “forgery” took place in 426 ET, in Hagia Sophia of Patras, with an elderly woman as the protagonist.
According to information, a relative of hers had given her a crossed ballot. However, the woman got confused and threw the envelope with the prepared ballot into the ballot box as well as the envelope she received at the polling station to vote.
When she became aware, the judicial representative called the Police for altering the election result.
The elderly woman was arrested and taken to the 1st Police Station where she explained exactly what had happened and was then released.
