An eclectic home designed to change over time

In Milan, an apartment of 200 square meters has become the new nest of the influencer La_zit and her family thanks to the intervention of the all-female team of Nomadic Architecture. The designers have opted for a “neutral box“, maintaining delicate nuances of white on the walls and choosing a light parquet floor laid throughout. THE touches of colour are given by furnishings, very often made to design, and wallpapers that revitalize some corners. «The eclectic style – explains Selina Bertola, founder of Nomade – is perfect for homes that want to grow and change, without distorting their nature, gradually composing themselves with accessories and accents that renew their varied and, at times, eccentric character».

The living area, open with large windows and a nice balcony towards the shared garden, is the heart of the apartment. The living roomoriented towards an essential bookcase complete with TV screen, and the dining room, with a light solid wood table, can be separated from the kitchen closing some sliding glass wings.

The food preparation area, organized around a central island and with powder blue furniture combined with polychrome wrought backsplash, remains isolated but never loses the visual connection with the living room. In the entrance area, a concrete supporting column has been stripped of its plaster and left bare. It is one of the “spots of colour” present in the house. «On this wall a Scandinavian-style sideboard and a composition of paintings with a multicolored palette have been placed that characterize the space with bright accents» underlines Selina.
