The experts speaking at the conference will provide information on previous catastrophic events in the Lake Balaton area, the impact of the earthquake in Croatia on Hungary, as well as the causes and consequences of meteorological variability in the region.
In addition, a presentation will be given on the endangerment of the high shores of Lake Balaton and the Kőröshegy valley bridge, reed and peat fires, the characteristics of extreme weather, as well as the consequences of the woolly butterfly invasion and the nature-damaging effects of traffic accidents.
