So far, smart home systems have largely bypassed residential communities. If they are installed, the systems in them are only “smart” in name, but in fact very limited or no smart system was made at all.

That has now come to an end!
Chameleon-Smarthome has been on the rise in the list of smart home systems for several years now. It became recognizable for its cabled system, which is affordable, stable and, above all, interoperable with various other systems and devices. At the end of last year Chameleon-Smarthome took three big steps. It introduced wireless devices, went public and introduced its UpHome app.
Although the first two steps are important, the biggest impact for the general public is the UpHome application.
This concept of smart residential buildings was created in 2021. The idea brought i invitation for representatives to participate in Dubai World EXPO as lecturers.
In Canada, thousands of apartments are currently under construction using the UpHome systemand in addition to Serbia, it is present on the American, German, Romanian, Slovak and Hungarian markets.
In Hungary, a residential building is being built using the UpHome system in the “Budapest Waterfront” project, which is similar to the concept of Belgrade on the water in Serbia.
What does UpHome actually offer?
The UpHome application is made so that combine the functions of apartments with the common functions of housing communities and convenient social functionalities so that people can easily connect with their neighbors.

The application offers possibilities that have not been seen before. From the same app, people can manage their apartments and common functions such as access or security cameras. In addition, there is also a possibility meter readings, bill payments, reservations of common rooms, reservations of chargers for electric vehicles, and the application also has a bulletin board, as well as the possibility of reporting faults and complaints with feedback.
The application offers the possibility of connecting the intercom of the residential community to the smart home systems, so that users can simultaneously use the intercom and control their smart apartment completely.
With the help of the UpHome application it is possible to rent rooms, houses or apartments, and even hotel roomsand users can provide tenants with time-limited access.
This is made possible renting apartments without personal presencewhich means that you can agree everything with the tenant online or over the phone, to make the payment and to provide them with access to the apartment or room for the agreed period.
Construction is also underway the first hotel that will be fully automated. When making a reservation, access data will be automatically assigned to the guest, further booking of the same room will be disabled, a charge will be made and the guest will be informed of all this. In this way, people will be able to use the hotel without intermediaries.
