AMD Ryzen 7 5700G spotted again, this time with memories on DDR4-5333

With processor AMD Ryzen 5 5700G we have met several times. In one leak it showed up to 20% higher performance than 3800X, one piece even appeared in the bazaar. Let’s remember that it is supposed to be an 8-core processor with support for 16 threads built on the Zen 3 architecture. It belongs to the Cezanne series and will be manufactured by a 7nm process. There is talk of a 4 MB L2 and 16 MB L3 cache, the TDP should then stabilize at 65 W. As for the maximum clock speed, previous leaks spoke at a frequency of 4.45 GHz, the latter shows a clock speed of up to 4.6 GHz.

The last leaks appeared on for Chiphell and they are mainly about memories. In the first frames (see link above) the processor was started with memories on the frequency DDR4-4338 with timing CL14-15-15-28, then on DDR4-5000 with CL16-17-17-36 and for a while also on DDR4-5339 with timing CL18-24-24-46.

Further tests focused on memory throughput and latency. The MSI MEG B550 Unify-X motherboard and the 4.55 GHz processor with CL14-14-14-28 timing DDR4-4733 memories reached a read speed of 69.3 GB / s, a write speed of 69.4 GB / s, copying 60.8 GB / s and latency 44.4 ns. When the processor frequency was driven to 4.6 GHz and the memories ran as DDR4-4786 with timing CL16-17-17-36, the reading speed dropped to 68.8 GB / s, writing increased to 69.9 GB / s, copying slightly dropped to 60.3 GB / s and latencies increased to 45.8 ns.
