We ordered ALDI products through ROKSH and made a great yet easy to make dough that is gluten and lactose free. See home delivery details and the recipe! (X)
At the end of last year, ALDI announced that it had signed a cooperation with the Hungarian startup, ROKSH, which provides an online shopping service. In addition to staple foods, the more than 3,000-item offerings include alcoholic beverages, pet food and equipment, baby and beauty products, and, of course, ALDI’s own-brand-free products. In addition to gluten- and lactose-free products, ALDI also includes vegan and vegetarian products, as well as goods with no added sugar and reduced sugar content. In the summer heat, no one likes to move out of the air-conditioned room, not even to shop, so we tested what it’s like to bring diet-compatible ingredients home. We made a great cheese-sour cream dough with sun-dried tomatoes from our order, let us tell you our opinion!
If you have a Google or Facebook account, you can sign up for the app in seconds and add the products to your cart. After assembling the basket, we will enter the delivery address and telephone number in case our doorbell does not work or there is a shortage of a product. In such cases, we will contact us by phone to replace or remove the product from the basket.
Extra tipp: Download the ALDI app so you can arrange your shopping even on the tram.
On the site or application we can sort by product category. We can shop under dairy products, baked goods, vegetables, fruits and more. And if you want to search for a specific product, typing in the search box at the top of the page will give you a list of related products, from which you can simply click on the appropriate one. This is the easiest way to search for free products. The raw material will appear and then we can add it to our shopping list by clicking on the “add to cart” button.
Extra tipp: Write your shopping list in advance so we can get your order done easily and quickly. If you type the word lactose or gluten into the search engine, the products will appear immediately.
You can see a number on the top right, it shows how many different products we have put in the basket so far. If the number may not increase, we know right away that the product you just opened has not yet been added to the list. In this case, and at the end of the purchase, it is worth checking the list of products you want to order.
We were able to easily get everything for our gluten and lactose free pasta dish. We could choose from several different lactose-free cheeses, and finally we put the MILFINA Blue Mold cheese in our basket. There is also plenty of variation from gluten-free doughs, we have ALDI ENJOY FREE! – CARLONI spaghetti was the winner.
Extra tipp: It’s a good idea to check your cart once more before paying, as we could easily have added a product more than once or omitted something from our shopping list.
We can also check delivery times in advance, which is great because it allows us to see exactly when there is free space, when the products can arrive at the earliest. We ordered on Thursday and our package arrived on Saturday. Small shipping is completely free unless you want to receive our package within a few hours or days.
Extra tipp: It may also be worthwhile to arrange bulk shopping this way, as we can save on shoemaking.
It’s fast, easy, prepaid, and it’s done through the Barion. Anyone who has come across this system knows that it is maximally reliable, so we don’t have to worry about our data falling into unauthorized hands.
Extra tipp: You may want to sign up for Barion to make the payment process even faster.
They come to the door
Skilled, Personal Shopping puts together the package of your choice as if you were just buying for yourself. To make sure we are home, we receive a phone call from the ROKSH courier to make sure we are home and can pick up the package. In ALDI stores, we always select the products that are the latest and retain their quality for the longest time, organize them in paper bags and take them to the door. The delivery fee depends on the store and the chosen delivery time zone. The exact amount can be checked while placing the order.
