Airlines in the United States ban weapons prior to Biden’s deployment

January 14, 2021

The FBI is concerned about planned demonstrations in connection with the deployment of Biden.

Washington DC and other U.S. cities across the country have increased security levels ahead of the inauguration of incoming President Joe Biden.

Several U.S. airlines announced Thursday that they will not allow travelers flying to Washington area airports to carry firearms.

The airline Delta has even created a list of people who are not allowed to board their planes because they have been involved in “riots”.

The national railway service Amtrak also announces that it will implement increased safety measures. Among other things, by deploying police officers on the cars.

The increased security measures come, eight days after the congressional building was stormed by supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump, as well as riots on planes and at airports.

Officials have warned of plans for armed protests in Washington DC and all 50 states.

The director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, Christopher Wray, says he is concerned about the risk of violence in several protests and demonstrations planned in the federal capital and at government buildings around the country.

Vice President Mike Pence promised in his first speech after the storm on January 6 that the United States will have a secure deployment of Joe Biden.

“We want to make sure we get a safe inauguration when President-elect Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris are sworn in,” Pence said.
