Kakao also defined remarks that attack specific people and specific groups based on such discrimination as heavy misrepresentation.

In addition, it contains the principle of advancing policies, technologies, services, planning, and design to respond hard to hate speech and eradicate hate speech.

However, Kakao recalled that the principle of eradicating hate speech is limited to public postings.

It has been announced that respect for privacy will be applied as a top priority for personalized services such as Kakao Talk’s private chat space, mail, and talk drawer, as well as private posts in the community.
