DAPURPACU – The World Supersport (WorldSSP) racing series will be held at the Misano Circuit, Italy, this weekend (11-13/). The target point was also announced by Galang Hendra Pratama.
The target is not without reason considering the problems in his right arm that he has been facing, have been resolved after the arm pump surgery or compartment syndrome that was carried out some time ago.
For information, this racer from Yogyakarta did experience pain in his arm when he was competing in WorldSSP Estroil so he had to settle for finishing 20th and 19th.
Currently, he is undergoing a physical recovery process with the support of his team, Ten Kate Racing Yamaha. Of course, it will be a challenge for Galang to quickly adapt to the Misano track which has a length of 4,226 km.
Galang admits that now he feels better than before after undergoing recovery after the arm pump operation on his right arm last week.
“This week at Misano I was more motivated, eager to fight and get the points back. Hopefully I can give the best results in this 3rd series,” he said.
Galang has made achievements at this circuit while still competing in the 2018 WorldSSP300 season with a pole position result in the superpole session, then in 2019 when the race successfully took 4th position.
In this year’s WorldSSP event, the additional points at Misano became a strong motivation for Galang so that he could improve his position in the standings. Currently the 22-year-old racer is in 17th position with 7 points.
