And the Zionist Minister of Tourism, Haim Katz, indicated, in other statements, that the government approved raising the budget for encouraging the storming of the Western Wall in the years 2023-2024, to 8 million shekels, after it was estimated at only 4 million, and the extremist Netanyahu government took decisions related to undisclosed projects with the aim of Judaizing. City.

Serious decisions preceded the meeting.

Regarding other decisions before the meeting at the Al-Buraq Wall tunnels, Hebrew Channel 11 reported that the occupation government will approve the allocation of millions of shekels to support excavation work under the blessed mosque.

She added that the government would approve the allocation of 17 million shekels to support excavations under Al-Aqsa, in addition to the maintenance of existing tunnels. The channel indicated that the decision comes despite the sensitivity of excavations in that area.

And the Hebrew newspaper “Israel Today” stated that the occupation government is scheduled to approve, during its special session on the occasion of the anniversary of the occupation of Jerusalem, to support and encourage the immigration of Jews to the city – by holding exhibitions and conducting trips from abroad to Jerusalem, and a package of tax exemptions for young couples in the amount of 95 million shekels.

She indicated that the plan comes in cooperation between the Jerusalem Municipality and the Jewish Agency, as the occupation government will work to encourage the immigration of Jewish youths between the ages of 18-35 to the occupied city, in light of the reluctance to live there due to the high cost of living.

The Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics said: “18,000 Jews have immigrated to the city since 2018, and yet about 30% of them have left it during the last five years.”

Warnings of a religious war

In light of these developments, the Council of Islamic Endowments, Affairs and Holy Sites warned against igniting a religious conflict in the region and the world as a whole, following the meeting of the occupation government in the Al-Buraq Wall area, and the storming of Bin Ghafir to Al-Aqsa.

The Council said in a statement: “These developments are a clear and systematic escalatory message against the history and heritage of the occupied city of Jerusalem, the Arab and Islamic heritage, in reference to the occupation government holding its weekly meeting, in the tunnels of the Al-Buraq Wall under Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, for the first time in 6 years.”

For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, said: “The occupation government’s holding its weekly meeting in the tunnels of the Al-Buraq Wall in the occupied city of Jerusalem is a dangerous escalation of the religious war waged by the occupation against the Holy City.”

“These steps are an attempt to falsify the identity of the city of Jerusalem, which constitutes a flagrant aggression against our people and our nation. We hold the occupation fully responsible for the consequences of the extremist attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque,” it added.

The Islamic Jihad Movement affirmed that the policies of aggression in Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, including incursions and provocations to the feelings of the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation, and the holding of a meeting of the government of terrorism and extremism under the Al-Buraq Wall come in the context of the Zionist war against our land and our people.

The movement said in a statement, “The attempts of this government to regain control at the expense of our inalienable right to Jerusalem and every atom of Palestine will fail, and its continuation will turn things upside down,” stressing that the aggression in Jerusalem will change all calculations, and that confrontation It will escalate the resistance, and we are ready.”

For his part, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said: “The occupation government holding its weekly meeting in the tunnels of the Al-Buraq Wall in the occupied city of Jerusalem is a dangerous escalation of the religious war waged by the occupation against the holy city.”

Qassem added, “These Judaization steps, which the Zionist government intends to approve in today’s meeting, are an attempt to falsify the identity of the city of Jerusalem, which constitutes a flagrant aggression against our people and our nation.”

He stressed that the Palestinian people “will continue their fight and legitimate struggle to preserve the identity of the Palestinian Arab and Islamic city of Jerusalem.”

In his turn, a member of the Hamas leadership abroad, Sami Abu Zuhri, said, “The Zionist Minister Ibn Ghafir’s storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning, just two days after the provocative flags march, constitutes a dangerous escalation and provocation of the feelings of the Palestinian people and Muslims in the world, and it is an embodiment of religious war.” declared by the occupation against the nation and its sanctities.”

Power condemns and coordinates
