Adira Finance Inaugurates a Driving-Friendly Tourist Village Landmark in Rejowinangun

DAPURPACU – PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance, Tbk. (Adira Finance) visited the Rejowinangun Tourism Village and the People’s Market Festival at Legi Market Kotagede, Yogyakarta, Saturday (10/9).

This activity is part of the 2022 Local Creative Festival series, Adira Finance’s annual CSR program under the Sahabat Local pillar.

At the same time, Adira Finance also awarded the title of ‘Driving Friendly Tourism Village’ to Rejowinangun Village, symbolically inaugurating the village landmark.

In addition, Adira Finance also holds various programs including training and mentoring for Creative Tourism Villages, as well as improving financial literacy for market communities.

The entire series of activities was part of the Local Creative Festival which was held in 5 tourist villages in Java and Bali from September to November 2022.

Adira Finance’s Marketing Director, Swandajani Gunadi said, this year is the third time Adira Finance has collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia to hold the Local Creative Festival program.

“In this year’s program, we invite the motorcycle community to explore various unique destinations in the Rejowinangun Tourism Village,” he said, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Vehicle-Friendly Tourism Village landmark.

Rejowinangun was chosen as one of the Driving Friendly Tourism Villages because it has met several supporting criteria.

The criteria include infrastructure such as paved roads, traffic lighting, refueling stations and automotive repair shops; human resources, namely creative economy actors, managers and tour guides; and the tourism ecosystem, namely tourist attractions, accommodation, or other facilities.

Swandajani sees that the distance for traveling is now relatively shorter, where people will look for tourist destinations that are not far from their domicile, and can be reached by car or motorbike.

So, he continued, in this year’s program his party together with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy chose five tourist villages that met the criteria as driving-friendly villages for the Java and Bali regions.

“For that I would like to thank the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for making the tourist village one of the new tourist destinations for automotive lovers,” added Swandajani.

The 2022 Local Creative Festival aims to support tourism, local wisdom and creative economy SMEs so that they can encourage the progress of the Indonesian economy.

Head of Rejowinangun Village, Handani Bagus Setiarso, S.Sos. appreciate Adira Finance for supporting the development of Rejowinangun Village as a Driving Friendly Tourism Village.

“Hopefully more tourists will know and visit Rejowinangun Village,” concluded Handani, who was also present at the inauguration of the village landmark. [dp/MTH]
