Acer unveils updated Predator Triton, Helios and Nitro gaming laptops

Acer has introduced updated versions of laptops from several game lines: Predator Triton 300 SE, Predator Helios 300 and Acer Nitro 5. Nitro 5 laptops received 11th generation Intel Core H35 processors, Predator Helios 300 – video cards from the RTX 30XX line for mobile devices, and the Predator Triton 300 SE is both. All laptops have improved cooling systems, and some models have increased screen refresh rates.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards based on the Ampere architecture deliver twice the energy efficiency, increased performance, and support for 3rd generation Max-Q technologies. They allow you to achieve high quality graphics in Cyberpunk 2077 and other modern games thanks to ray tracing, as well as create content in applications that require the support of a powerful video card.

Predator Triton 300 SE

The Predator Triton 300 SE has a 17.9mm thick metal body and 1.7kg weight, but it can run modern and demanding games without any problems. This laptop is equipped with an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 H35 Special Edition processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics, as well as a 5th Gen AeroBlade fan cooling system and Vortex Flow to keep component temperatures at an acceptable level, even under heavy load. … The impeller of all-metal fans is equipped with special tips that increase the airflow, and the guides help to minimize turbulence. Vortex Flow technology creates aerodynamic flow inside the enclosure using heat pipes, ducting and a pair of flanges.

The Predator Triton 300 SE features a 14-inch FHD 144Hz screen, tri-zone RGB backlit keyboard and DTS: X Ultra sound system. The laptop also has a Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 NIC for fast wireless connectivity, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and HDMI ports, and PredatorSense software and a dedicated Turbo key give you real-time fan speed control.

Predator Helios 300

Predator Helios 300 (PH315-53) received support for modern NVIDIA GeForce RX 3080 graphics cards and up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. The IPS-screen operates with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 3 ms, DTS: X Ultra technology is responsible for acoustic performance with support for virtual surround sound. The notebook is equipped with two AeroBlade 3D fans with support for Acer CoolBoost technology, which helps them to operate at optimal performance.

Acer Nitro 5

Next-generation Nitro 5 laptops feature 11th Gen Intel Core H35 processors, NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM, and M.2 SSDs with PCIe / SATA connectivity. For situations where silence or maximum cooling is needed, the NitroSense app allows you to monitor the temperature of various system components and adjust the fan speed.

The Nitro 5 comes with 15.6 or 17.3-inch screens with 144Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time and up to 300 nits brightness. The screen occupies 80% of the front surface. The laptop keyboard is equipped with four-zone RGB backlighting that can be customized. USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6 (Gig +) technologies are responsible for data exchange.
