About biodiversity and its progressive loss, at the Art Cell, until November 30

In the unconventional gallery The art cell, between November 17 and 30 you can see the painting exhibition The one who got away of the tattoo artist Alex Petcu, a personal project separate from his 15-year activity, in which nature is his inspiration and refuge. The opening will take place on November 17 at 19:00 and the exhibition can be seen at any time in the space on Bd. Carol, no. 53.

In painting, Alex’s challenge is to enjoy observation and build a series of works in which to be absorbed by the creative process and the joy of experiencing a new environment – oil.

“Through my works I want to inspire viewers to look for beauty in unexpected places and to be aware of the constant loss of biodiversity following the crazy daily rhythm of life. Live and let live.”

The art cell is represented by a space with street opening, which aims to allow the works to escape from the classic space of the gallery to interact with a new audience, who are not used to participating in openings and thus, because there is no physical and temporal barrier between the object of art and the viewer, a free, direct and non-conformist dialogue is created.

The gallery supports contemporary creation in the thematic areas of the visual arts and encourages the development of new forms of artistic expression accessible at any time for street audiences. With a presence of ~ 4 years (2017 – 2021) on the art scene in Bucharest, The art cell supported ~ 70 events (exhibitions, performances, live) and influenced the perception of the exhibition of objects or artistic acts in front of the public.
