This week, security guards witnessed an argument between a young Slovak couple in a shopping center in Montpellier, France. The man is 26 and his pregnant girlfriend is only 17.

“The man slapped his girlfriend and kicked her. He then took her head in his hands and shook her,” the server writes Free lunch.

As the French describe further, when the security guards got involved in the incident, the Slovak pulled out a knife. “They managed to pacify him before he could open his blade,” it is written on Midi Libre.

And now comes the twist. His girlfriend was also supposed to join the fight on the Slovak’s side. The result? One of the security guards suffered an injury to the forehead and another of the mall was injured in the forehead and the other had broken glasses.

The state police came to deal with the situation. According to the French portal, the young woman shockingly claimed in front of them that she had been hit by security guards, but the footage from the camera system clearly shows what happened and clearly refutes her claim.

The Slovak was placed in police custody. “He made up that he took out the knife to cut his girlfriend some cheese that she had in her bag and that she was craving. When he took her head in his hands, he was actually supposed to kiss her…” writes Midi Libre.
