Moscow – A fire broke out today in an oil field in Russia’s Krasnodar region, which, according to preliminary data, was caused by drones. Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratěv announced this in a telegram. The head of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov also announced the shelling of Russian territory at night.

“There are no victims,” ​​Kondratev wrote in a telegram. The flames spread in the area of ​​the Afipskij refinery, firefighters are on the scene and, according to the governor, the situation is under control.

Gladkov stated in a telegram that the Russian border town of Shebekino was again under fire. “According to preliminary data, there is one victim,” he said, adding that vehicles are on fire and residential buildings are damaged.

None of the regional chiefs spoke about the originator of the attacks. However, Krasnodar Krai is adjacent to the annexed Crimean Peninsula, and Belgorod Oblast lies on the border with Ukraine, which Russia attacked last February and has been at war with since then. In recent weeks, attacks on Russian territory have been escalating, but Kiev has not officially claimed responsibility for them. Several drones also attacked in Moscow on Tuesday in the largest such incident to date. At the same time, on Tuesday, Russia launched a massive airstrike on the Ukrainian capital for the third day in a row.
