A new solution avoids the limitation of Nvidia with double cryptography

LHR technology can be played out creatively, but it has serious limitations.

Releasing pressure from gamers looking for a video card, Nvidia tried to restrain its GPU efficiency in Ethereum mining with software restrictions earlier this year, but the method was soon circumvented, resulting in more advanced LHR, or Lite Hash Rate technology.

For too long, however, it didn’t pull either, since NBMminer already has able since August to unlock 70 percent of the RTX 3000 Series ’total capacity, essentially shaking off Nvidia’s shackles. And now another method has come to light, which is already 100 percent capable, but only with serious restrictions.

This time the Tom’s Hardware reported software called T-Rex, which plays LHR cards with dual mining. This allows 30 percent of the output to produce Ethereum and the remaining 70 to produce some less popular currency, such as Ravencoint. The big disadvantage of the 100 percent solution, however, is that the rate cannot be reversed, so this detour will not be very attractive for ETH travelers.

Nor does it matter which card in the Ampere series is used by farmers. For example, the joint mining of Ethereum and Ergo requires at least 8 GB of VRAM, but the pair of ETH and Ravencoin already has 10 GB, which excludes both the Geforce RTX 3070 Ti and the RTX 3070 from the edge.

This is good news for those who want to get the irons for play, of course, but to be honest, it doesn’t multiply much, as the introduction of LHR has not alleviated the GPU shortage, which has been significantly reduced not only by mining but also by previous years. excess demand and the crisis in chip manufacturing are also exacerbating.
