A new campaign with fake messages sent in the name of ANAF

The National Tax Administration Agency (ANAF) warns on Tuesday about a new campaign of false messages sent on behalf of the institution.

A new campaign with fake messages sent in the name of ANAF

According to ANAF, through false messages, taxpayers are notified that they have “overdue tax payments”.

A document, the “tax invoice”, is attached to the message, and ANAF representatives advise those who receive the message not to open the document.

ANAF recommends taxpayers to open these emails, not to access the attached documents or the links in the content and not to transfer money to the mentioned accounts.

“The Virtual Private Space service, made available to taxpayers, free of charge, was created and developed for secure communication with the institution. Also, taxpayers can obtain tax information of a general nature at the ANAF CALL CENTER 0314039160”, reports ANAF.
