The accident took place in the bridge area on the western side of Bajalia Buri shop on the Keranihat-Bandarban road on Friday afternoon (May 26).
The deceased Md. Son of Abdul Mannan of North Dhemsha Fakir Para of Dhemsha Union of Emran Upazila.
Eyewitnesses said that on Friday afternoon, Emran was coming towards Kerani Hut by riding a motorcycle. Just as the motorcycle was crossing the bridge on the west side of the second-hand shop on the road, a trolley in the same direction was turning and hitting the motorcycle while heading towards Bajalia. Then the motorcycle collided head-on with another private car towards Bandarban. Emran was seriously injured.
Later he was rescued and taken to Chittagong Medical College (CHMEC) hospital where he died.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Satkania Police Station Mohammad Yasir Arafat said that he has no information about the accident.
