A free trial version of the Dead Space remake appeared on Steam – at first, by mistake, it was also available in Russia

On the digital distribution service Steam appeared a trial version of a remake of the space horror Dead Space from Electronic Arts and developers from EA Motive. Russian players were also allowed to participate in the celebration of life for a short time.

The trial edition of the Dead Space remake gives you the opportunity to try the game, but you will not be able to run through it in its entirety. The demo is limited to 90 minutes, and during this time they do not have time to complete the passage yet even the best speedrunners.

In addition to the time limit, the trial version of the updated Dead Space also has an availability period. The offer is valid only for the next two weeks, that is, until May 29.

Despite the fact that Dead Space itself is not for sale on Russian Steam, the first time after the release, the trial version was available to Russian gamers, but soon the Russians (and Belarusians) blocked.

The Dead Space remake debuted on January 27 on PC (Steam, EA App, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S without Russian language support. Mechanics VoiceOver is preparing a full localization with public money – the release is expected in the summer of 2023.
