The conference called “The world of unlimited opportunities in the global digital economy”, organized by the company Payoneer, presented new trends and tendencies in the digital economy. Over 300 conference participants had a unique opportunity to hear practical and theoretical advice from leading experts in the field of digital business in one place.
The forum covered a wide range of topics, from international payments, the best and most profitable ways to do business with international clients and successful adaptation to the changing market, to discussions about e-commerce business, freelancing business and digital marketing. Experts from IT, economy, bookkeeping, marketing, e-commerce and other relevant spheres of business spoke about this in an inspiring and dynamic way, through personal experiences and the best practical advice that leads to business success.
“The idea of the forum was to gather and thereby expand the community that operates in the digital economy. As a company, we realized that through educational programs we can open the door to the world for people, and that is the path we will continue to follow. All our activities, both on the forum and outside it, are relevant both for beginners and for those experienced in this field, because the digital economy is extremely dynamic and it is important to constantly monitor its trends and tendencies. I also learned new things at the forum from the participants that I can hear practically only at events of this type, and that is why there is currently a great interest in conferences with this topic. Nikola Mehandžić, director for Serbia and the Southeast Europe region at Payoneer, said on this occasion.
In addition to lectures and panels, participants also had the opportunity to attend the presentation of the global Payoneer award for entrepreneurship for 2023, which this year went to Serbia in the hands of Ognjen Vuković, the founder and director of the international marketing company Four Winds Digital LTD.
The part of the forum dedicated to freelancing was followed by many questions from the audience, while the business segment of the forum with Aleksandar Stanić, Top 1% seller on the Shopify platform, also attracted great interest. In addition to him, the guests were also inspired by the stories of Nedim Šabić (CEO @ Bigburg & Founder @ seoskola.com), Milan Trbojevića (Bookworm), Jelene Đurović (Payoneer) and Marije Janjušević (Digital Serbia initiative), Nikola Mehandžić (Payoneer), Ognjen Vukovića (Four Winds Digital LTD), Jack Thorogood-a (Native Teams), Nane Radenkovic (Nova Iskra), Vlade Tamindžija, Andrijane Vešović (Zombija), Luka Vermezović (Pendulum Ads), Nemanja Đaković (Httpool), Miloš Matić (ICT Hub), Goran Bjelica (Seyfor), Ana Brzaković (How are you at work?), Filip Karaičić (Quantox) and Blanke Šupe (Chaos). The moderator of the program was Aleksandra Petrovski, with the support of colleagues who moderated the panels, namely Danijel Milošević (Demotivation) and Vladimir Stanković (Business Stories).
Throughout the day, a large number of partners’ stands were also present at the conference, where all those interested could get free consultations 1/1. Special curiosity was also caused by the so-called speed dating activation. Namely, 30 people got the opportunity to exchange personal and business contacts during the two-minute exchange of actors. It was a great way to expand and establish business contacts, which was also one of the goals of the conference.
