Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis was today in the Thessaloniki metro, testing the route from the New Railway Station to the Pylaia train station. At the same time, he expressed his sincere satisfaction with the progress of this important project.
Upon his arrival at the depot, he characteristically said “it’s a nice day for Thessaloniki”.
Mr. Mitsotakis, who is currently on a tour of the facilities, was informed by Attiko METRO executives and its president Nikos Tahiao, as well as by representatives of the contracting company, for project progress expressing his complete satisfaction with the course of execution of the projects.
The Prime Minister was accompanied, among others, by the Minister of State Giorgos Gerapetritis, the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Giorgos Karagiannis, the general secretary of Infrastructure, Elli Maria Gerandi and others.
We note that Mr. Mitsotakis was accompanied by his wife Mareva and their children, Sofia and Konstantinos.
