A child was killed after falling from the roof of a newly built house in Chakaria

Family members climb on the roof of a newly built house in Chakaria, Cox’s Bazar. There were more than one child at that time. One of the children slipped and fell from the roof while playing with the other.
When the child was seriously injured, he was first taken to a private hospital in Chiringa, Chakaria municipality.
When his condition deteriorated while he was undergoing treatment there, he was taken to the Upazila Health Complex around 7 pm. At that time, the doctor on duty of the emergency department of the government hospital declared the child dead.
The incident took place at noon on Friday (July 3) at the house of Shah Alam, a resident of Harbang Bazarpara in Harbang Union of the upazila. The deceased was identified as Nahida Begum, 12. She is the daughter of Shah Alam.
The on-duty doctor of the emergency department of the Upazila Health Complex said that the child was found dead around 7 pm. At this time
He was pronounced dead on examination.
Harbang Union Parishad said. Miranul Islam said the child fell from the roof of the newly constructed one-storey house of Shah Alam, a resident of Harbang Bazarpara and died.
Chakaria police officer in charge (OC) said. Habibur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that the child was allowed to bury the body without an autopsy at the request of the family.
