’92 percent work on main Padma bridge completed’

Staff Reporter :: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Tuesday (February 18th) visited the Mawa end to inspect the latest progress of the Padma Bridge.

At the end of the inspection, he said, 92 percent of the main Padma Bridge and 84 percent of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge project has been completed.

As mentioned earlier, the bridge minister said today that the entire infrastructure work of the bridge project will be completed by June 2022 and it will be opened for vehicular traffic. If the construction of Padma Bridge is completed, a revolutionary change will take place in the communication sector in Bangladesh.

The bridge minister said his first dream was to restore order in roads and transport.
