91.5 percent growth in net sales revenues from Bizim Toptan | General News

Bizim Toptan continued its growth by increasing its net sales revenues by 91.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, with the contribution of its successful performance in the Out-of-Home Consumption (EDT) channel, where it serves corporate customers, in the first quarter of 2023.

Bizim Toptan, Turkey’s largest and most widespread organized wholesale market in terms of number of stores, announced its first quarter results of 2023 to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). Bizim Toptan increased its net sales revenues by 91.5 percent in the first three months of 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, to TL 4.5 billion. Bizim Toptan’s growth in the Out-of-Home Consumption (EDT) segment, where it serves corporate customers such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, and gas stations, contributed positively to the financial results in the first quarter of the year. Our Wholesale; With its growth in the EDT channel and in different customer groups, new stores, digital infrastructure investments and a dealership model, Seç Market, whose number has reached 2,500, continued its good performance in the new year despite the effects of the great earthquake disaster.

Bizim Toptan, which delivers 50 truck products to those in need immediately after the earthquake, and distributes hot meals in the earthquake area, works to strengthen the region economically. The company, which has activated its damaged stores in the region, contributes to the regional economy and provides uninterrupted supply to the public by serving with a tent store with a wide variety of products organized instead of the demolished store in Iskenderun.

Balcı: “We stand by our customers and trade with our investments in 2023”

Bizim Toptan CEO Hüseyin Balcı evaluated the first quarter results of Bizim Toptan and said: “We increased our turnover and number of customers in the first quarter of 2023 with our multi-channel sales model, growth in the EDT channel, and store and warehouse investments. We took steps to control our expenses with our environmentally friendly investments such as the solar energy system that we put into operation on the roof of our Gebze store during the period. Unfortunately, the great earthquake disaster that our country experienced on February 6 affected us all deeply. While the country shows solidarity to heal the wounds of the earthquake, we are working to restore our damaged Bizim Toptan and Seç Market stores to meet the needs of the people in the region without interruption. In the continuation of 2023, we will continue to work to overcome the economic effects of the earthquake as a country, and we will continue to stand by our customers and trade with our investments and projects.
