7 of the top 10 Supercomputers “vote”… AMD!

H AMD may be known to the general consumer public for its Ryzen processors and Radeon GPUs, but the well-known company plays dynamically and in other categories. In particular, AMD has developed specially designed processorswhich are used inside a row supercomputers. In fact, in the relevant list that was made public recently and concerns Top 500 supercomputerss that currently exist in the world, AMD has managed to win it “vote of confidence” of 121 systems. In fact, the most important thing is that AMD’s Silicon chip is inside 7 systems, which are located in the Top-10 with the fastest supercomputers.

It is worth noting that the supercomputer: Frontier powered by AMD components, it’s the only one on the planet that plays at its scale exascale and this why the Aurora (which is the rival awe) which has inside its processors Intelhas yet to present one benchmark.
