5G laptops and monitors with USB Type-C

HP is showcasing new laptops, monitors and accessories at CES 2021. All of them will be on sale in the coming months.

The HP Elite Dragonfly G2 is one of the lightest and smallest business convertible notebooks and one of the greenest. It is made with recycled materials, including ocean plastic. The novelty is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core processor and Intel integrated graphics.

Connecting to 5G or 4G networks allows you to stay connected even outside your home and office. HP Tamper Lock detection technology locks the computer if it was physically tampered with and notifies the user. Available in black or blue, the HP Elite Dragonfly Max features 4 AI-enhanced audio-optimized wideband microphones, a 5-megapixel and infrared camera for enhanced video calls, and an HP Eye Ease display with blue wave reduction technology and Eyesafe certification for reducing the burden on vision. HP Elite Wireless – Wireless headphones with audio customization and active noise canceling. They can switch, for example, from a conference call on a PC to listening to music on a smartphone. The headphones will be available with the Elite Dragonfly Max, but they can also be purchased separately. The HP Elite Folio Transformer is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G computing platform, which does not require fan cooling and provides Internet connection at gigabit speeds through support for 5G networks and Wi-Fi 6, and also guarantees up to 24.5 hours of video playback. The device has a retractable form factor, convertible body, a webcam with a 76-degree viewing angle, two microphones and speakers from Bang & Olufsen. The 13.5-inch display is optionally available with HP Sure View Reflect anti-tamper technology and a camera with a built-in shutter for increased security. Includes an HP Elite Slim Active Pen with fast charging and storage in a laptop case. The HP EliteBook 840 G8 Aero Laptop is 1.13kg and features a 14-inch screen and 11th Gen Intel Core processors with native Tile, Wi-Fi 6 and 5G LTE support. The device features a 720p HD camera, three microphones, upward-facing speakers, and AI-enabled sound settings. The HP EliteBook 840 G8 Aero is equipped with a number of security features to help protect the privacy of user data, including HP Privacy Camera and HP Sure View Reflect technology to protect the screen from peeping. The laptop case is made of magnesium alloy and 90% recycled materials.

HP introduced a few more new products:

HP EliteBook x360 1030 G8 and HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8 Notebook PCs with the latest Intel processors, security features and optional 5G connectivity. The HP ENVY 14 Notebook PC is your mobile personal creative studio. It features an IPS touchscreen display with an optional resolution up to WUXGA (1920 × 1200), 16:10 aspect ratio and multi-screen, providing 11% more viewing area than a traditional 16: 9 laptop. This is the first HP laptop with a 14-inch display and Delta E calibrated color accuracy

Depending on your workflow, you can choose from four presets in HP System Control to customize your system based on 11th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q graphics. HP Dynamic Power app balances processor and graphics power while providing up to 16.5 hours of battery life.

The ENVY 14 is equipped with a physical on / off switch and smart lighting for the webcam, a microphone mute button on the keyboard, and an intelligent noise canceling function that removes background noise when using speakers, headphones or a microphone during video chats, calls, or recording audio and video.

The HP FHD M-Series Monitors are designed primarily for teleworkers and creative professionals. The M Series is the first line of monitors with a recycled oceanic plastic cabinet to receive Eyesafe certification. The monitor case is 85% recycled and comes in eco-friendly packaging. The new models minimize eye fatigue, even during prolonged use, through technology to reduce harmful blue radiation, which does not affect color accuracy. With support for an even wider color gamut, the screen supports 99% sRGB color space. The M24f, M27f and M32f FHD models feature a tri-sided, bezel-less Full HD panel for crisp images and wide viewing angles. The HP E24u G4 and HP E27u G4 USB-C Monitors are equipped with USB Type-C connectivity to laptops and computers and can be used as a laptop power supply up to 65W. For home and office workers looking for a simple multi-monitor configuration, daisy-chain connectivity is offered. The monitors are equipped with multiple ports and are shielded from harmful blue light. With the power button, you can wake up your monitor and laptop or put them to sleep, even with the lid closed. The HP Wireless Mouse 635 is designed to work with multiple devices at once. It can function on any surface, even glass, and also work on a single battery charge for a year. By connecting up to three different devices using a USB adapter or up to two devices using Bluetooth, quickly switch from PC to tablet and vice versa. The mouse has four programmable silent buttons that can activate predefined commands (for example, “undo” or “redo”) in ten applications, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Sketch Up, Chrome and Zoom.

The HP Renew Travel Backpack and Bag for 15.6-inch Notebooks are made from sustainable materials sourced from recycled plastic bottles. They have adjustable straps and internal and external pockets to store your accessories. Lined pockets with anti-theft elastic zippers allow you to carry a laptop up to 15.6 inches.
