5 Android apps not to be missed this week

We have decided to present you 5 new mobile applications and games every week, with which we will make sure that you are as up to date as possible in the field of Android software development. This time we chose four games and one app.

The Spike

Price: Free

The Spike is a 2D arcade volleyball game. It was developed by a group of high school students and we have to admit that they managed to create a pretty fun game. In short, we can say that it is a game of volleyball with different players, who then, according to statistics, improve their skills. The game is quite demanding, but it is completely free, but at the same time full of ads. We would definitely like to see a premium version as well, which we hope will be coming soon.

Price: Free / up to $ 2.99 (converted 2.48 euros)

DrawPortal is essentially a collaborative drawing application that allows us to draw with friends. The app offers different drawing options, different tools, zoom options and more. We can also use layers that remove or add whatever we want with a few clicks. The user interface is quite basic, but functional. Simply open the app and start drawing. It is a cheap app that works well and is suitable here for kids.

Summoners War: Lost Centuria

Price: Free

Summoners War: Lost Centuria is the latest game in the Summoners War franchise. This time, the developers have created a game in which we collect cards and fight with other players. Most of them are online “player-versus-player” games based on a fight between sixteen players, ie “8 on 8”. The game also contains some PvE content, which means we don’t always fight other players unless of course we want to. The game is free, but it has a few more bugs in its initial phase, which we are sure will be fixed soon.

Typewise Custom Keyboard

Price: Free / $ 1.99 (converted 1.65 euros) per month / $ 9.99 (converted 8.28 euros) per year / $ 24.99 (converted 20.71 euros) as a lump sum

Typewise is not really a new app. However, version 3.0 brought very drastic changes in the layout of the keyboards and the functionality of the application. As we can see in the picture, the new keyboard layout is in the shape of a hive. People will need a different amount of time to conquer the keyboard. Once we get used to using the new keyboard shape, it is relatively comfortable, but once again, it will take some time before we reach this level. There are still some bugs, but it’s still welcome to see something new in the field of keyboards.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus

Price: $ 11.99 (converted 9.94 euros)

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is a mobile version of the 2018 game of the same name. It is basically a strategy game with more than 50 levels. The game itself is good and what is especially appealing is the premium game with no “in-app” purchases. However, there are also some shortcomings in the game. The mobile user interface isn’t exactly ideal, so we recommend tablets to play this game. It is true that the price of the game is quite high, but this will not be a problem for real fans.
